Lesson 21: What is Your Address?

一﹑教学目标:
1. 知识与技能:学生能够掌握四会单词avenue、road、street;并能通过学习句子What is your address? My address is ____. 使学生简单介绍自己的住址并能与他人进行沟通与交流,灵活运用在日常口语交际中。
2. 过程与方法:注重灵活多样,丰富多彩课堂气氛的形成。提供真实情景,鼓励学生大胆踊跃发言。
3. 情感态度与价值观:为学生提供真实的语言环境,鼓励学生大胆的说,培养学生自我表达和与他人沟通的能力;养成良好的学习习惯,注意英语中“街道”的大小写的区别。
二﹑教学重难点:
教学重点:能听懂和运用四会单词avenue、road、street(并且注意在描述具体地址时要大写首字母);句子What is your address? My address is ____.
教学难点:在本节课中让学生学会如何用英语介绍自己的地址并能用英语询问他人的住址情况,并且在表达的过程中做到句子流畅、发音标准,表达的清楚准确。

Greeting:
T:Hello,everyone. How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you?
T: I’m fine,thanks.
Step 2
T: Where do you live?
Teacher asks some students to answer this question. Ss greet with their teacher and review what they have learned last lesson. To make students be polite and review what they have learned
呈现新课
(Present
the new lesson) 录音机,多媒体课件,地图。 Step 1
T: If I want to your home, What is your address? I mean how I can get to your home.
Teacher asks some students to answer this question.
T: Now, Let’s look at these pictures (见图片资源)。
教师出示road,streets and avenues的图片,帮助学生记忆并分清几种道路的表达。
T: What is this?
Ss: This is ….
教师板书并领读单词:road,street, avenue.
T: Ok, Let’s look at the text.
教师播放课件:Lesson 21-1 (见优秀课件)。
Teacher asks the following questions.
1) Where does Jenny live?
2) Where does Danny live?
Step 2
T: Draw a house and an apartment on the map.
T: I live in an apartment. Where do you live?
S: I live in a house/an apartment on the ….
教师出示地图。
T: Can you help me find your address?
教师板书:
What is your address?
My address is __. I live on ____ Road/Avenue/Street.”
T: Ok. Let’s look at where Steven lives.
教师播放课件:Lesson 21-2.
Teacher asks the following questions:
1) Where does Steven live?
2) What is Steven address?
3) What is Danny’s address?
4) Is Danny’s address near the theatre?
Step 3
Teacher asks some students to look out their address, and then ask students use these sentences to make up dialogue: Where is ____? What is your/her/his address?
Is that ____ far from/near ____?
Teacher chooses some students to tell their address to the other students. . Students know new words, read the text and according to what they have learned to make dialogues. Step 1

课堂评价
Evaluate 多媒体,课件 随堂练习:
Give answers to the following questions.
1) Where do you live?
2) What is your address?
3) Which place is it near? Students do exercises. To check students’ learning ability
